Rena’s Rithmetic, LLC is a tutoring company with the belief that all children can learn mathematics through exploration and perseverance.  Our company creates a safe space for all learners, virtually and/or face-to-face, to take risks when engaging in quality mathematics instruction that promotes problem solving while also addressing specific learning needs. Rena’s Rithmetic, LLC focuses on minimizing students’ math anxiety by making connections to their prior knowledge and experiences.

Ms. Rena helped my son thrive with her math tutoring especially during the pandemic. He not only maintained his skills, he learned and closed the gap of his learning. Thank You!!

Mathematics Intervention or Enrichment opportunities for Grades 3 - 7.  

Tutoring program focuses on

  • Building strong number sense and fluency (efficiency, accuracy, and flexibility)

  • developing algebraic reasoning

  • deepening understanding of fractions, decimals, and percents,

  • strengthening word problem-solving skills.

  • Private One-on-One Tutoring

  • Small Group Instruction

A chromebook, desktop, or laptop is strongly encouraged for virtual sessions. Tablets and cellphones may not support the platform features.

One-on-One Tutoring

1 hour session

Prepay discounted package available

  • Virtual or In-Person Individual support

  • Classwork and/or Homework Support

  • Tutor created intervention and/or enrichment tasks based on student's needs

Small Group Instruction

1 hour session

Virtual or In-Person sessions

​

  • Students in the same grade and/or grade band

  • 2-4 students

  • Tutor created lessons based on number sense fluency
    (not speed), fraction/decimals/percents understanding, algebraic understanding, and problem solving
